Sheridan Smith for Manchester Funny Girl

Following sold-out runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Savoy Theatre, Sheridan Smith will reprise her performance of Fanny Brice at selected venues for the UK tour of Funny Girl—including the Palace Theatre, Manchester, where the tour will open on 18 February 2017.

Further casting will be announced shortly.

Funny Girl brought global fame to Barbra Streisand 50 years ago and boasts songs including "People" and "Don’t Rain On My Parade".

Sheridan Smith’s other theatre work includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hedda Gabler, Flare Path, Legally Blonde, Tinderbox and Into the Woods. TV credits include Blackwork, The C Word, Cilla, The Widower, The 7.39, Dates, Mr Stink and Mrs Biggs.
