Silly Kings - the tent opens on 19 December

Next month sees the first Christmas show from National Theatre Wales to be staged at Cardiff Castle.

Silly Kings is adapted by Katherine Chandler from the book Fairy Tales by Monty Python’s Terry Jones and Michael Foreman and features live music from Groove Armada’s Patrick Dawes.

The director is Jo Davies and the cast of musicians and circus performers includes Remy Beasley, Stephen Casey, Kier Charles, George Fuller, Maxwell James, Hannah McPake, Sion Pritchard and Matthew Woodyatt.

This comic, family-friendly show will play a huge heated tent sited in the grounds of the Castle from 19 December to 4 January. Touch tours and audio described performance are available and age guidance is 7 years plus.
