Star casting announced for tour of The Full Monty

Initial casting has revealed that Gary Lucy will lead the cast as Gaz. Lucy will be well- known to television watchers from Eastenders and as the winner of Dancing On Ice amongst other small-screen credits.

Dinnerladies’ Tony, actor Andrew Dunn, will play Gerald, Brookside’s Mick Johnson, actor Louis Emerick, takes the role of Horse and Coronation Street’s Jamie Baldwin, actor Rupert Hill, that of Guy.

Dave will be played by Martin Miller and Bobby Schofield makes his stage debut as Lomper.

The original production of The Full Monty directed by Daniel Evans won the UK Theatre Award for Best Touring Production. The show is based on a movie of the same name and features the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.

This new production is directed by award-winning director Roger Haines with choreography by Ian West.

The tour starts at the Manchester Opera House on in September and continues into next year taking in:
