After 12 annual events, Manchester’s 24:7 Festival won't be producing an event this year.

Many projects have now been set up by established theatres in the region to develop theatre-makers, exploring new locations, and the July Fringe is gaining strength so organisers think it best to take a step back, observe, and consider where they might add to the scene in the future.

Meanwwhile they are delighted that Laura Harper's We Are The Multitude is included in the Best Fringe Production category of the Manchester Theatre Awards nominations just announced. This means there has been 24:7 involvement in every awards event—as nominees and/or winners—since 2004.
