A three-day festival of storytelling for families with children takes place at the Bush Theatre this half term. The initiative will migrate to other London venues over the next two years.
Storystock will provide shows, talks, workshops, parties and activities for anyone under 13 years of age and their carers. Amongst the performance events are The Wimpy Kid Show, The Burglar Bill Puppet Show and Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes.
The Bush Theatre’s Executive Director Sian Alexander said, “we are delighted to host the first ever Storystock festival at the Bush Theatre and can think of nowhere more fitting for a celebration of storytelling than our theatre, based as it is in the Old Shepherd's Bush Library.
"We know many local residents have fond memories of this building from their own childhoods and we look forward to welcoming a new generation of local families to Storystock this October half term.”
Storystock at the Bush Theatre runs from 31 October to 2 November.
