STR New Researchers’ Network Symposium - London on 19 June

The Society for Theatre Research New Researchers’ Network's Second Annual Symposium will be held in London on 19 June.

Titled Dumb objects, spoken for? On Performance Archives and Documentation, it will have the theme of archives and live performance documentation, recognising benefits and difficulties associated with the use and development of new technologies in both archiving and accessing material.

Proposals for papers are invited on, amongst other topics, historical evidence as event, the archivist as curator, legalising and copyrighting art work and the detritus of performance.

The deadline for abstracts is 20 March. Full details are available from the STR.
