The Bread & Roses Theatre is looking for material for their Playwriting Award and for October's Clapham Fringe Festival.
Firstly, they are inviting scripts of full-length plays which are unproduced and unpublished for consideration for its biennial Playwriting Award. Works must feature roles of which at least half are female, non-binary or gender neutral.
Up to three plays will be published and given a professional production at the venue which gives the winners 10% of box office income and royalty from all sales. Applications close on 31 May.
For Clapham Fringe Festival, The Bread & Roses Theatre is looking for productions, comedy and other variety performances. Clapham Fringe Festival runs from 27 September to 14 October at this south west London 60-seater theatre. Applications for Clapham Fringe Festival close on 3 June.
