Multi-award-winning Kneehigh has released a creative toolkit based on its short Hans Christian Andersen inspired film The Neon Shadow, created during the first COVID lockdown.
Launched on the Kneehigh Cookbook site, The Shadow Kit looks at the innovative ways the team behind the film found to create and collaborate over its production.
Together, director Tom Jackson Greaves, writer Annamaria Murphy, composer Dom Coyote and editor Brett Harvey go through the processes and provide practical exercises to support those interested in progressing their own projects.
This online educational resource pack is free to use and contains Q&As with the team and video and audio files amongst other resources. It is suitable for professionals and theatre studies, drama GCSE and A Level students.
"Shadow Arms", the title track from The Neon Shadow, will be released on 27 January (available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and Google Play). Music is by Dom Coyote, the lyrics are by Annamaria Murphy and the music video is by Brett Harvey.
