English language performance and presentation charity, The Association of English Singers & Speakers, now in its centenary year, offers a number of awards of which The Fell Musical Theatre Prize is one.
In association with the Toni V Fell Musical Charitable Trust, the Prize is open to full-time students of musical theatre, of any nationality, between the ages of 18 and 25. The value of the Prize is £1,000, with the winner performing at a lunchtime concert at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on 10 May.
Each competitor must perform a song and a speech in English, which must be the original language of both pieces, in front of an audience of AESS members, competitors and friends. The Prize will be held on Sunday 28 April at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
