The Blue Elephant Theatre in Camberwell, south east London, is home to The Flying Roast Goose, a story of colonial history in Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation in the 1940s.
Using physical theatre, puppetry and object manipulation, the narrative is told through the eyes of a Cantonese chef and her pet goose.
Theatre company Out of Chaos is dedicated to telling stories inspired by East Asia and this work, originally seen in extract at a Blue Elephant scratch night and other London venues, is produced in association with Yellow Earth Theatre.
The Flying Roast Goose plays The Blue Elephant Theatre from 3 to 21 June. It is suitable for those aged 12+ and there will be a post show discussion on 11 June.
