The Full Monty is back on the road.
Gary Lucy, whose credits include Danny Pennant in EastEnders, Kyle Pascoe in Footballer’s Wives and Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks, leads the cast as Gaz.
Joe Absolom plays Lomper. His television credits include Matthew Rose in EastEnders and Al Large in Doc Martin.
Andrew Dunn, known for playing Alastair Campbell on Bremner, Bird and Fortune, Tony in Dinnerladies and Mick Johnson in Brookside, plays Horse.
Chris Fountain and Kai Owen (both known for Hollyoaks amongst other credits) play Guy and Dave respectively.
The director is Jack Ryder.
This production of Simon Beaufoy’s play, adapted from his own screenplay, has won the UK Theatre Award for Best Touring Production. It features the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
This is Beaufoy’s début work for the stage; his screenwriting credits include The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Slumdog Millionaire.
