Now in its fourth year, the Great Yorkshire Fringe brings a wide range of entertainment for all ages to a variety of venues across York.
Theatre events include Next Door But One's Any Mother Would, The Sisters Grimm and Freak from York feminist theatre collective The Herd.
Sh*t-faced Shakespeare's version of Hamlet and Thinking Drinkers take audiences from the symposiums of Ancient Greece to the classic British boozer with all things tipsy, whilst younger audiences can enjoy Monstersaurus and One Giant Leap For June.
Comedy is delivered by, amongst others, Reginald D Hunter, Rachel Parris and Lost Voice Guy. The Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year heats run throughout the festival with the final at the White Rose Rotunda on 29 July.
The programme also includes poetry, music, conversation, magic and other events such as the York Fringe Dog Show. All details are available online.
The Great Yorkshire Fringe runs from 19 to 29 July.
