Central London's Leicester Square Theatre has initiated the search for a new piece of musical theatre writing.
The New Musical Project will find and then develop a new work through mentoring and rehearsal leading to a fully staged production in the Theatre’s Lounge space in May next year.
Submissions of unpublished or never performed one-act musicals are invited from which six will be selected for a rehearsed reading, which will lead to one being fully-realised.
The deadline for submitting a short treatment and recordings of up to three contrasting songs from the show is 1 December.
