London's Finborough Theatre has announced its autumn season.

The programme for September to November includes the Papatango New Writing Prize–winning piece, Unscorched, the début play of Luke Owen which received the unanimous support from the panel of judges. The play is described as "a delicate and unashamed exploration of the taboos of working in child protection".

Other new writing includes the season's opening play, Fishskin Trousers by award-winning Elizabeth Kuti and Finborough Theatre Playwright-in-Residence Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus; both pieces receive their world premières this autumn. A further 18 new works are featured in the Theatre's fifth Festival of Finborough Playwrights, Vibrant 2013.

Amongst the Finborough's rediscoveries are Summer’s Day Dream by J B Priestley which receives its first UK production in over 60 years and Michael Hastings's Lee Harvey Oswald, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy.

A one night fundraising event on 20 October, An Evening with Dame Diana Rigg, also forms part of the autumn programme, and the late night FinboroughForum returns to discuss new writing in the UK.
