The Women's Writes Online Festival

Five short plays by female-identifying playwrights challenging female stereotypes put womxn in the spotlight in the Women's Writes Online Festival.

The 15 minute monologues have been filmed London's Arcola Theatre and are:

  • Bride written by Lily Bevan, directed by Beth Wilson
  • Call Me Maybe written and performed by Martha Watson Allpress, directed by Alessandra Davison
  • In Love with Cancer the debut play by Marylou DiPietro, performed by Hannah Mary Dandoand directed by Becky Harrison
  • We are people too written by Alina Rios, performed by Oyinka Yusuff and directed by Melissa-Kelly Franklin
  • Yellow Bricks written the debut play by Rosanne Stewart, performed by Sophie McQuillan and directed by Leah Fogo

Women’s Writes Online Festival will be online from 1 to 31 January.
