Instructions For American Servicemen In Britain

Theatre company Fol Espoir together with comic trio The Real MacGuffins have created a deeply silly and eye-opening night of entertainment based on a wartime leaflet.

Issued by the US War Office in 1942, Instructions for American Servicemen in Britain aimed to prepare GIs for life in Britain and included such gems as "The British don't know how to make a good cup of coffee. You don't know how to make a good cup of tea. It's an even swap."
