Friday sees the start of a new festival of cabaret at The Ditch, performances spaces created at the former Shoreditch Town Hall.
Promising song, dance, burlesque, roller skates, hula hoops and magic, over twenty established and new artists from across the UK will perform at the festival, Unleashed, which takes place over three weeks.
Nick Giles, Director of Shoreditch Town Hall Trust said: “Unleashed represents another really exciting step forward for the Town Hall—our first in-house curated festival, a new identity for our amazing basement in The Ditch, and a whole raft a new of new creative relationships.
"For the past nine months, we have been really focused on successfully completing the first phase of our capital project, and now that we are there it’s wonderful to be able to realise more and more of the potential of our building—all 46,500ft2 and 70 rooms of it. The Ditch couldn’t be a better home for this new festival”
Unleashed runs from 12 to 28 July.
