Wandsworth Arts Fringe starts this week running from 5 to 21 May.
A cross–discipline festival, events include theatre, dance, comedy, music, visual arts,literary events, outdoor spectacles and dance circus.
Amongst the theatre events in the programme are A Meeting Of Minds, a celebration of John Betjeman and Philip Larkin, with essays by Alan Bennett compiled and performed by actor Martin Wimbush and Nova Insula from Mapped Productions, an immersive, site-responsive cinematic deconstruction of The Tempest interweaving performance, new media and interactive installation, staged in the underground passages of Putney Library.
