The Weebles, one of Northern Stage’s Neighbourhood Events, is an audio experience which can be listened to on Littlehaven Beach in South Shields, where the group of statues called Conversation Piece but known locally as The Weebles, is sited, or at home until 31 August. All details, including the audio download, are available on the Northern Stage web site.

The Newcastle Fringe, featuring theatre, music, comedy and workshops, continues at Newcastle’s Alphabetti Theatre from until Saturday. Full details of all the Pay What You Feel events can be found on the Fringe web site. All events are both live and streamed but workshops are all on Zoom.

On Sunday, Tyne Audio presents The Show Must Go On Live, an evening of musical theatre, in the Bistro Bar at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.

From Thursday to Saturday at 11:30 and 2:30, Kitchen Zoo presents Wolf! for the under-5s at ARC Stockton.

Heartbreak Productions and the Nick Carraway quartet present The Great Gatsby in the Middlesbrough Town Hall Courtyard on Friday at 6:30. Tickets from the Middlesbrough Theatre web site.

At Darlington Hippodrome on Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:00 and 6:30, Horrible Histories presents Barmy Britain and on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 and 1:00, it’s In the Night Garden—Live.
