Magic Goes Wrong is at Newcastle Theatre Royal from Monday to Saturday.

Unfolding Theatre’s Free School Meals runs in Stage 2 at Northern Stage from Wednesday to Saturday. while The Weebles, one of the theatre’s Neighbourhood Events, is an audio experience which can be listened to on Littlehaven Beach in South Shields, where the group of statues called Conversation Piece but known locally as The Weebles, is sited, or at home until 31 August. On Sunday 29 at 7:00, Tyne Audio presents The Show Must Go On Live, an evening of musical theatre, in the Bistro Bar at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.

On Tuesday at 11:00 and Friday at 2:00 at Alnwick Playhouse, Fully Booked Theatre presents two workshops for 4- to 9-year-olds and their grown-ups, based on their new show How Long Is a Piece of String (coming to the theatre in September).

On Tuesday (at 3:00 and 6:00) at Newnham Grange Farm, Middlesbrough Theatre presents Immersion Theatre’s The Jungle Book.

Until 30 August (once daily, various times) in Hartlepool Borough Hall, AJ Productions present Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Then from Thursday to Sunday at 7:30, they present the adult (18+) panto Dick Whittington.
