The Offing, a Live Theatre / Stephen Joseph co-production of Janice Okoh's adaptation of the Benjamin Myers novel, runs at Live Theatre until 27 November.

Gangsta Granny runs from Wednesday to Saturday at Sunderland Empire.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, which includes Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks and The Very Lonely Firefly as well as the title show, is at Billingham Forum on Tuesday (1:30 and 4:30) and Wednesday (10:30 and 1:30).

Philip Meeks’s stage version of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, starring Wendi Peters and Bill Ward is at Darlington Hippodrome from Tuesday to Saturday.
