Wet House continues at Live Theatre until 5 October.

Paines Plough’s Jumpers for Goalposts comes to Northern Stage from Wednesday to Saturday, and from Friday until 10 October Unlimited Theatre and Northern Stage present The Noise.

The touring production of West Side Story runs at Sunderland Empire from Tuesday until 12 October.

Arts Centre Washington presents its Scratch Night, Greenhouse, on Thursday.

At the Customs House in South Shields, Broadway Theatre and Cutting The Strings present Cissie and Ada: An Hysterical Rectomy on Monday, followed in the Studio on Friday by Toby Hadoke’s My Stepson Stole My Sonic Screwdriver and, in the main house from Friday to Sunday, by Boyle Ya Stotts Productions with Assault on the Tyne Comedy Jam.

On Tuesday at 1:30 and 6PM, Théâtre Sans Frontières brings Le Moulin Magique to Alnwick Playhouse, followed on Friday by the Radio Revellers with Moonlight Falls.

On Tuesday at the Queen’s Hall at Hexham Reform Theatre presents Stand, whilst on Saturday at 2:30, Queen's Hall Arts & Jack Drum Arts present children’s show Cuddy and His Mates.

Jason and the Argonauts comes to the Playhouse Whitley Bay on Friday and Saturday.

On Saturday at 2:20 Red Earth Theatre and mac Birmingham present Emil and the Detectives at Durham’s Gala Theatre.

Comedy 50 Days of Grey comes to Billingham Forum on Monday and Tuesday.

At ARC Stockton C-12 Dance Theatre presents Shhh! on Thursday and Friday and children’s show Sparkle from PuppetShip arrives on Saturday.

Cissie and Ada: An Hysterical Rectomy comes to Darlington Civic on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pride and Prejudice is at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond on Thursday and Friday.
