Ayckbourn's Things We Do for Love comes to Newcastle's Theatre Royal from Monday to Saturday.

Dmitry Krymov's Opus No 7 comes to Northern Stage, where Stage 1 and Stage 2 combine to make one huge space, from Thursday to Saturday.

There will be a reading of Lee Hall's screenplay For the End of Time, about the composer Messiaen, at Live Theatre in Thursday and Friday.

The touring production of Evita comes to Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

Lydia's House, by actors' agent Janet Plater, opens at Arts Centre Washington on Thursday.

At the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond this week MsFit Theatre presents Walking on the Roof on Friday and Flying Cloud presents The Book on Saturday.

From Monday to Saturday the touring production of The Mousetrap comes to Harrogate Theatre's Main House.
