A Blighted Life, part of curious?, an LGBTQ arts festival for the North East, is a triple bill of dance—Bound by Lucy Hutson, Replicas by Jennifer Essex and A Blighted Life by Gavin Coward—and will be performed at Bamburgh House, Market Street East, Newcastle on Saturday at 7:30. Seabright Productions presents Black Is the Color of My Voice, inspired by the life of Nina Simone, at the Customs House in South Shields on Saturday.

On Friday, Byre Opera presents Britten’s The Turn of the Screw at The Maltings, Berwick.

On Saturday and Sunday at 11AM and 1:30PM, Cloud Nine will be performing its new show, An Excess of Overcoats, a series of mime comic sketches, at Tynemouth Station as part of the Mouth of the Tyne Festival. (Free)

The Incident!, a new comic musical with a cast from China and Hong Kong, comes to the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond on Friday at 7PM, prior to a West End run.

The Oldham Coliseum production of The Ladykillers comes to Harrogate Theatre from Tuesday to Saturday.
