Wicked, the West End and Broadway musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, will conclude its multi record-breaking UK and Ireland tour at The Lowry in Salford from June 3.

The acclaimed production has already been seen by more than a million people since its première in 2013.

The cast is led by Ashleigh Gray as Elphaba and Emily Tierney as Glinda, who are joined by Chester-based ex-Brookside star Steven Pinder, as The Wizard/Dr Dillamond and Marylin Cutts, who appeared in 2012 film Les Miserables, as Madame Morrible.

In Wicked’s cast of more than 30, other north west actors are ensemble members Oliver Evans and Ben Carruthers from Stockport and Grant Thresh from Bolton. Carina Gillespie, from Liverpool, plays the role of Nessarose. Carina’s theatre credits include Sandy in Grease (West End and UK tour) and Maria Elena in The Buddy Holly Story (UK and Scandinavian tour).

Wicked continues its open-ended London run at the Apollo Victoria Theatre where it is now the 10th longest-running show in the West End.
