The Snowman flies into London's Peacock Theatre for another Christmas.

This will be the 16th year that the Birmingham Repertory Theatre production of Raymond Briggs’s story accompanied by Howard Blake’s instantly recognisable score provides a family treat over the holiday period.

Another modern classic, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, is also making return visit to Sadler’s Wells. Winning awards by the bushel, this all–male Swan Lake has become the longest running ballet in the West End and on Broadway.

BOING! is something new for those aged three and over and plays the Lilian Baylis Studio. Presented by Travelling Light and Bristol Old Vic, this piece of children’s dance theatre uses comedy, acrobatics and breakdance to express the excitement of waiting for Father Christmas to arrive on Christmas Eve.

  • The Snowman – 27 November to 5 January
  • Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake – 4 December to 26 January
  • BOING! – 20 December to 5 January
