American playwright Kevin Kautzman makes his UK début with a four-week run of his new play Dream Of Perfect Sleep at London's Finborough Theatre to be directed by Max Pappenheim, previously a resident assistant director at the venue.
A heart–warmingly funny and powerful story of hope and loss in the face of dementia and terminal illness, the play has music by Angus MacRae and the cast comprises Lisa Caruccio Came, Cory English, Susan Tracy and Martin Wimbush.
Developed in the US, Dream Of Perfect Sleep has had workshops and readings in New York City and London; it won the Kernodle New Play and Southwestern Playwriting Awards
