ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company is to begin auditions and masterclasses to search for the next generation of dance talent.
To help aspiring dancers prepare for auditions, the company will host a series of masterclasses on Saturdays in London, starting from 12 October at The Old Finsbury Town Hall designed for dancers aged 10 to 20, at an intermediate to advanced level, with a limit of 30 students per session.
The classes include:
- 12 October – Popping with Olivia Francis
- 19 October – Breaking with Gavin Vincent
- 26 October – Locking with Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe
- 9 November – House with Bradley Charles
- 16 November – Choreography and Characterisation with Kate Prince and Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe
Auditions for ZooNation Youth Company will follow the masterclasses and will be by invitation only. Dancers aged 10 to 20 are invited to submit an application form by the deadline of 20 November 2024.
The 2025 cohort will be led by the joint artistic leadership of ZooNation’s Founder and Artistic Director Kate Prince and Associate Artistic Director Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe.
