Deep-Fried Language

Deep Fried Language has come to Edinburgh all the way from Sydney and features a company from a local high school in Mosman.

The first five minutes of this absurdist drama set the scene, as school pupil Alan is arrested by a pair of mad police officers for shoplifting.

Whether the intention was to invoke the memory of Kafka or the Goons is unclear but the ensuing 30 minutes show occasional flashes of poetic language but any meaning disappears long before the end.
