Noodles

NoFit State Circus
New Town Thetre

"In a sea of irreverent chaos and a world of knots, wires and spaghetti" pretty accurately describes what's on the stage when you walk into the theatre.

Like Bianco, also done by NoFit State Circus, the chaos is so well organized that you don't notice it. It is a tribute to their reputation that there were so many children; really small children.

NoFit State, in a very mature way, works on so many levels that it is well suited to all ages. Noodle is a little tamer than Bianco and more fun than scary.

The performers here are all women except for one man. And like Bianco, there is a great deal of trapeze work but, as a nod to the very young, there is a lot of slapstick and funny bits. And eating of spaghetti. There are buckets of spaghetti, wheel barrows full of spaghetti, so much spaghetti that performers are lost and buried under the spaghetti.

You walk out of the theatre feeling good about the world.
