On Ice is a monologue that is unusual in that Dutch writer/performer Suzanne Grotenhuis delivers it while skating around the stage space.
The trigger for this story was her discovery that for €2,000 it is possible to buy your own personal ice rink, albeit built from fake ice.
Her story meanders around, drifting on to Swan Lake, a trip across the Australian desert, love, life and such like.
She spends a lot of time saying very little rather sweetly, probably intending to provide an oblique commentary on the meaning of life.
