This is a show for old rockers who reluctantly gave up the trade but may not have much of a wider appeal.
Effectively, it consists of an hour-long amateur jam session, though one of the performers, guitarist Ross Millard, is a true pro. This is supplemented by a self-indulgent attempt to show devotion to music.
More seriously, the show is an homage to Mark Lloyd, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the sections recreating his experiences are the best that Putting the Band Back Together has to offer.
