Blam!

International smash-hit Blam! will be playing at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool this summer, its only UK dates this year.

Described by its creators as ‘Die Hard meets The Office’, it is set in a typical office where four wage slaves attempt to escape their painfully dull 9 to 5 jobs by inventing a game to pass the time when the boss isn’t looking.

A huge hit at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, it played to packed houses in one of the city’s biggest venues and went on to play a season in London’s West End. It has since toured all over Europe and performances are scheduled in Israel, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and the USA.

The presentation in Blackpool is the first joint venture between the Grand and LeftCoast, the Arts Council England funded programme designed to inspire more people in Blackpool & Wyre to experience the arts.
