Twelve Angry Men, which has been playing in London's West End since November last year, is to welcome multi–award winning Tom Conti in the role of juror number 8.

Juror number 8 is the role made famous by Henry Fonda in the 1957 movie of the same name and which has been played in this production by Martin Shaw.

Tom Conti has enjoyed a long stage and film career; he and Dame Judi Dench were recently jointly voted the Most Popular Actors in the West End in the last 25 years.

Other notables in the case include Robert Vaughn (Man from Uncle and, more recently, Hustle) and Jeff Fahey (The Lawnmower Man).

Twelve Angry Men is directed by Christopher Haydon.
