Derby Theatre casts Little Red Riding Hood

Tilly-Mae Millbrook takes the title role

Derby Theatre and Hiccup Theatre have revealed the cast of their Christmas 2019 production Little Red Riding Hood.

Hiccup Theatre’s new version of the classic story is “all the better to entertain you with” and is aimed at children aged three and over and their families.

Tilly-Mae Millbrook who takes the title role in Little Red Riding Hood returns to Derby Theatre after her appearance in the 2019 production of Mike Kenny’s adaptation of the Brothers Grimm story Hansel and Gretel.

Ivan Stott plays the wolf. He was Colonel Redfern in John Osborne’s Look Back In Anger at Derby Theatre in 2016. Completing the cast is Bethan Morgan as grandma.

Derby Theatre’s artistic director Sarah Brigham directs. Set design is by Sam Wilde, costume design by Tim Heywood, puppets are designed by John Barber and music will be composed by Ivan Stott and the cast.

Little Red Riding Hood will run in the Studio at Derby Theatre from Wednesday 4 December until Saturday 4 January 2020.
