Wembley Park's Arena Square will host the outdoor cinema screenings of Julius Caesar, a production seen earlier this year at London's Bridge Theatre and last year's production of Twelfth Night seen at the National Theatre.
With further screenings to be announced, the programme is one branch of the first Summer of Play which brings free arts and entertainment to Wembley Park.
Together with the soon to open Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, Summer of Play forms part of the cultural strategy for this area which is undergoing significant development.
For Twelfth Night, Simon Godwin directs an ensemble cast that includes Tamsin Greig, Daniel Rigby, Tamara Lawrence, Doon Mackichan and Daniel Ezra.
In the cast of Nicholas Hytner’s Bridge Theatre production of Julius Caesar are Ben Whishaw, Michelle Fairley, David Calder and David Morrissey.
Twelfth Night will be screened on 6 July and Julius Caesar on 13 July.
