Yvonne Arnaud announces new season

Seeing audiences through the summer and autumn and through to the winter months, there is something for everyone in the new season at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.

The flm season from 11 to 23 August is followed by thriller Double Death starring Brian Caron, Andrew Paul, Kim Tiddy and Judy Buxton.

Lotty's War opens in Guildford and stars Mark Letheren, Olivia Hallinan and Adam Gillen.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense also opens in Guildford starring John Gordon Sinclair and James Lance. Eric and Little Ern is an affectionate homage to the famous comedy double act.

Simon Callow stars in The Man Jesus in October. A thriller of sex, secrets and lies, J B Priestley's Dangerous Corner stars Michael Praed, Colin Buchanan, Kim Thomson, Matt Milne, Lauren Drummond and Finty Williams.

Susan Hill's The Small Hand is the latest chiller from the million-selling author of The Woman in Black. Pitcairn is Richard Bean's brand new play at the end of October.

The best sellng author of Wild Swans vsits Guildford in An Evening with Jung Chang, and a brand new English version of Henrik Ibsen's ground-breaking play A Doll's House begins November.

Watching the Living stages Daphne Du Maurier's atmospheric short stories, and exerience ninety minutes of madness with Dr Phil Hammond: Games to Play with your Doctor.

The Russian State Ballet and Opera House return with ballet favourites, The Nutcracker, Giselle and Swan Lake and, direct from the West End, Dinosaur Zoo brings awesome prehistoric creature to town.

Followiing the sell-out success of The Play That Goes Wrong, the Cornley Polytichnic Drama Society return to cause chaos with their production of Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

Comedy Store Player Josie Lawrence stars as the witty Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ;the seven dwarfs include film star Ray Griffiths.
