Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Jekyll And Hyde has undergone something of a transformation in the new adaption by Jo Clifford.
This reinterpretation, which is produced by multi award-winning touring company Sell A Door Theatre, sees the story re-set in a steampunk dystopian world of the future where Dr Jekyll is a cancer specialist consumed by the quest for immortality.
Amongst Jo Clifford's other credits is an adaptation of Great Expectations, which premièred with Alan Cumming as Pip and which was recently revived in London's West End directed by Graham McLaren. Jo Clifford is currently under commission to the National Theatre of Scotland.
Jekyll And Hyde opens at Greenwich Theatre on 11 February then tours nationally until the end of March.
