Full of razor-sharp wit and quickfire dialogue, Private Lives remains Noël Coward’s most popular and enduring stage comedy. Performed by London Classic Theatre, it’s at The Dukes in Lancaster next Tuesday and Wednesday.

A 21st century version of the world’s most tragic romance, Romeo and Juliet, is revised by award-winning dance and theatre company Lost Dog at Lancaster University next Wednesday night.

To celebrate 50 years since Elvis Presley’s televised special, This Is Elvis, at Blackpool Opera House all week, follows the story of a pivotal period in the performer’s life and career.

Two dynamic dramas kick off Theatre by the Lake’s February schedule in Keswick. Cornermen, set in the world of boxing and presented on Monday in the Studio, is followed the next night by From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads, about an obsessive David Bowie fan.
