Named Manchester’s Best Visiting Production in the 2011 Manchester Theatre Awards, following a sell-out run at The Lowry last year, the National Theatre’s smash-hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors returns to the venue from January 8-19.

Actor, stand-up comedian and presenter Rufus Hound leads the cast as Francis Henshall in Nicholas Hytner’s five star award-winning production and is joined by Blackpool-born Jodie Prenger, playing his love interest Dolly, who shot to fame after winning BBC 1’s I’d Do Anything in 2008.

Sex, food and money are high on the agenda, in Richard Bean’s English version of Carlo Goldoni’s Italian comedy The Servant of Two Masters. The show has become a West End and Broadway sensation, winning the Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle Award for Best New Play.
