North East nominees in the Great British Panto Awards for 2020 are:

  • Paul Shriek and Matt Fox for Best Costumes, for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Customs House, South Shields.
  • Scarlett Moffatt for Best Newcomer, for Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at Sunderland Empire.
  • Miss Rory and Duncan Burt for Best Ugly Sisters, also in Cinderella at Sunderland Empire.
