In the anniversary week of Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko’s death, Lancaster Arts at Lancaster University hosts a double bill of theatre with 2Magpies Theatre: The Litvinenko Project and Christopher Brett Bailey’s This is How We Die.

Whilst 2Magpies do not know who killed Litvinenko, they do know what he liked to eat, what he liked to drink, and how he liked to dance.

Tom Barnes and Matt Wilks devised this show whilst studying for masters degrees in International Security and Terrorism at the University of Nottingham.

Meanwhile, This Is How We Die is a collage of spoken word and storytelling. Tales of paranoia, young love and ultra-violence from Christopher Brett Bailey, with echoes of Lenny Bruce, William Burroughs, beat poetry and B-movies.
