From 19 to 21 August, Rambert, which celebrated its 90th anniversary this year, takes over the National Theatre’s River Stage festival for a taster weekend of new and contemporary dance works.

Programme highlights will include works by James Cousins, Julie Cunningham, Mbulelo Ndabeni and Simone Damberg Würtz, with live music from Quinta.

There will also be many chances to get involved, from yoga and contemporary dance classes to a family workshop for 2 to 4 year-olds, dance class for adults aged 60+ and a Rooster workshop.

Rambert’s takeover weekend is part of the River Stage festival, a free outdoor season in front of the National Theatre, with events hosted every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 29 July until 29 August.
