Steve gets to act Dumb

Steve HuisonSteve Huison joins the cast of Oldham Coliseum Theatre's production of Dumb Show at the Grange Arts Centre in June. He starred in cinema hit The Full Monty as Lomper and has appeared in many television shows including The Royle Family and Dinnerladies. Most recently he played lovable layabout Eddie Windass in Coronation Street.

Steve plays Barry in Dumb Show—Joe Penhall's satire on the relationship between the morality of the press and the ethics of celebrity culture. A star of Saturday night TV isn't getting the ratings he used to. When two private bankers come knocking on his dressing room door with a proposition, complete with a healthy fee, it looks like his troubles might be over.

Dumb Show taps into the current question of press morality and the ethics of celebrity culture.

Steve be starring alongside Kate Coogan who most recently appeared at the Coliseum in Stepping Out (2011) and Leigh Symonds who played Doctor Watson in the recent tour of The Hound of the Baskervilles.
