Lead by director Mojisola Adebayo, Sweet Taboo explores gender and sexuality within the Black community

British born, Nigerian–Danish theatre director Mojisola Adebayo is to devise an original piece of theatre on the theme of gender and sexuality with a multi-disciplinary team of creatives.

This project is part of Talawa Theatre Company’s programme for emerging theatre makers and will see the four weeks of collaborative effort end with performances of Sweet Taboo on 15 and 17 August at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

The country's primary black-led theatre company, Talawa Theatre also works with the School on intake and diversity. This show is part of its current programme of work.
