The touring stage production of Nigel Slater’s memoirs Toast will open the autumn season at Liverpool Playhouse, September 10–14.
Toast premièred last year at The Lowry before a sold-out run at the Traverse during Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The production transferred to the West End in April, and has just finished its four-month run at London’s Other Palace.
Adapted for the stage by Henry Filloux-Bennett, the production is directed by Jonnie Riordan. Giles Cooper continues to star as Nigel Slater.
