The Offing, a Live Theatre/Stephen Joseph co-production of Janice Okoh's adaptation of the Benjamin Myers novel, runs at Live Theatre until 27 November.

On Saturday 13 November at 1:00 family show Meggie Magicia by Wendy Errington is at Alphabetti.

9 to 5 the Musical is at Sunderland Empire from Tuesday to Saturday.

Provoked to Madness by the Brutality of Wealth by gobscure is at Arts Centre Washington on Thursday.

Also on Thursday Eliot Smith Dance’s new work LIFE is at Alnwick Playhouse. Tickets are Pay What You Feel.

From Thursday to Saturday Haddock and Chips comes to The Exchange, North Shields.

Haddock and Chips is also at Ushaw Hall, just outside Durham, on Tuesday and at Saltburn Community Centre on Wednesday.

On Saturday at 9:30 The BonBons Cabaret, hosted by Bonnie and the Bonnettes, comes to Laurels, Whitley Bay.

On Saturday and Sunday Girls Just Wanna Have Fun arrives at Playhouse Whitley Bay.

Marlon Solomon’s one-man show, Conspiracy Theory: A Lizard’s Tale, comes to Harrogate Theatre at 7:45 on Wednesday.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is at the Royal Hall, Harrogate on Friday.
