Shrek the Musical continues at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle until Sunday.

On Monday and Tuesday, Warwick Arts Centre and China Plate present Confirmation by Chris Thorpe and Rachel Chavkin while on Tuesday and Wednesday in Stage 3, Sarah Cameron performs The Red Chair.

From Tuesday to Saturday, Open Clasp brings Jumping Puddles to Live Theatre.

On Sunday, Alphabetti Spaghetti presents Write Back, five new short plays in script-in-hand performances.

On Wednesday at Dance City, the Jasmine Vardimon Company performs Park.

On Thursday, Theatre Ad Infinitum presents one-man show Odyssey at Arts Centre Washington.

On Wednesday, Sell a Door Theatre Company presents Jekyll and Hyde at the Customs House in South Shields.

On Tuesday, Gingerbread Man, presented by Clydebuilt Puppets, is sold out for both performances at the Queen's Hall in Hexham.

Northern Ballet's The Elves and the Shoemaker comes to Durham's Gala Theatre on Thursday at 2PM and 6:30PM.

From Monday to Friday less is MORE presents its New Writing Festival 2015 at Middlesbrough Theatre, featuring five new plays. For full details see the web site.

On Wednesday Ellen Kent brings the Chisinau National Opera and Philharmonic production of Madama Butterfly to Darlington Civic.

Jekyll and Hyde comes to the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond on Friday, followed by one-man show Call Mr Robeson on Saturday.

On Monday, there's a work-in-progress performance of Waiting for Light in the Studio at Harrogate Theatre, then on Thursday in the Main House, Unfolding Theatre presents Lands of Glass.
