Cap-a-Pie presents The Town Meeting in Stage 3 at Northern Stage on Friday.

Day of the Flymo runs at Live Theatre from Wednesday to Saturday.

On Wednesday at 10:30AM, East London Dance, Sadler's Wells and Stratford Circus present Varmints, based on the children's book by Helen Ward, at Dance City.

Wicked continues at Sunderland Empire until 25 April.

Word Pepper Theatre in association with Half Moon and Apples and Snakes presents Pop-Up Flashback for children aged 5+ at 11:30AM and 2PM at Sunderland City and Library and Arts Centre, Fawcett Street (part of the Sunderland Stages initiative).

The European Arts Company brings Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray to the Queen's Hall in Hexham on Wednesday.

Shone Productions presents The Wizard of Oz, starring Britain's Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey, at the Playhouse Whitley Bay on Thursday (6PM) and Friday (2PM).

Children's show Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure comes to Durham's Gala Theatre on Saturday (1PM and 4PM) and Sunday (10AM and 1PM).

At Middlesbrough Theatre on Wednesday, Vienna Festival Ballet celebrates 35 years with its 35th Anniversary Gala and on Thursday and Friday Roberts and John Productions presents Amanda Whittington's Satin and Steel.

Varmints comes to ARC Stockton on Saturday at 2:30PM.

On Thursday, the Vienna Festival Ballet's gala production will be at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond and on Saturday John Godber directs his own play Bouncers.
