Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! comes to the Theatre Royal in Newcastle from Tuesday to Saturday.

On Thursday in Stage3 at Northern Stage, Little Cog presents The Art of Not Getting Lost and on Saturday there will be a work-in-progress showing of Camisado Club's new show You, Me & Everything Else before the company returns with the full production in September. This show is free but booking is required.

On Tuesday and Wednesday as part of its Live Lab programme, Live Theatre presents Red Is the New Blue, a fusion of theatre and spoken word, in the Studio.

On Saturday at 2:30PM, Dance City hosts Hop from Nevski Prospekt, a dance production for children aged 4+.

Irving Berlin’s Top Hat plays at Sunderland Empire from Wednesday until Saturday 4 July.

At ARC Stockton this week the Writers ARCADE rehearsed readings is Song of the Hive by Allison Davies. It is followed on Thursday by 21,000 Miles of Rail, written and performed by Hannah Butterfield, and on Saturday at 2:30PM, Action Transport Theatre presents STATIk for age 5+.

From Wednesday to Sunday, Horrible Histories tells the stories of Incredible Invaders (Wednesday and Friday at 7PM, Thursday at 10:30AM and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30PM) and Groovy Greeks (Thursday at 1:30PM, Friday at 10:30AM, Saturday 7PM, Sunday at 11AM) at Darlington Civic.
